Comment:  Hoa Long Village was in Phuoc Tuy Province and located only 2km from the 1ATF base at Nui Dat.

Comment:  The Plaace is perched 50 metres up 'Big Mountain" AKA VC Hill and enjoys wonderful views along the coast.

Comment:  It was built as a retreat for French Governor General Paul Dourner at the begining of the twentieth century in 1898.
